The New Year is here. It is a time when we have been excited to put the pandemic behind us, and a time when it is disappointedly still here. It’s also a great time to be asking yourself what opportunities are possible. Have you been dreaming about trying or going back to a painting class, learning how to knit, or taking up welding?
Has your movement routine gotten boring and you want to spice things up by using your body in new ways? Is there a hobby or pastime you’ve let go of and you’ve been waiting and wanting to bring it back?
Maybe you would like to meet new people or reconnect with friends or family, after this time of being so separate. There are many ways to explore new or favorite hobbies with other people safely. There are online book clubs, game/trivia nights, virtual tours of famous museums or cities, virtual escape rooms or murder mysteries, the possibilities are endless!
How will you adapt your goals to meet this year’s reality? As for me, I will be offering online groups and workshops over the next few months. We are taking this opportunity to reach more people using Zoom video and telehealth sessions via phone. Be sure to join our community to hear about new events.
There is nothing as promising as the clean slate of a new calendar. What activities will you write on yours?
