Rates and Insurance

Rates

My practice is self-pay (fee for service).

The rate for an individual session (50 minutes) with Sandee Nebel, LPC, LMHC, LCMHC, LPC-MHSP, CEDS-C is $225 USD. The rate for college and grad students is $130 USD.

ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) sessions (50–90 minutes) are $225 USD.

Insurance

Please contact your insurance provider to verify how your plan compensates you for out-of-network psychotherapy services.

I am also happy to provide you with a statement (superbill) to provide to your insurance company, (with the exception of Medicare), for reimbursement after you have paid out of pocket for services.

Payment

I accept all major credit cards as forms of payment, via Stripe, in my secure and confidential electronic medical records system.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.

No Surprises Act Notice

In compliance with the No Surprises Act, clients who are uninsured, self-pay, or out-of-network have the right to receive a good faith estimate (GFE) of the expected costs for counseling services before treatment begins. This estimate helps ensure transparency and protects clients from unexpected charges. Should the final billed amount exceed the estimate by $400 or more, clients have access to a dispute resolution process. If you have questions about your fees or would like to request a good faith estimate, please ask during your initial contact or session. I am committed to clear communication about all fees and charges related to your care.
